World Heritage in Sri lanka - Sinharaja Forest Reserve

Sinharaja Rain forest is a great nature's creation. This forest is paramount part in its differences and additionally instructively. Sinharaja is treated as a fortune of Flora and fauna. It has been advancing since it was begun up to today without obstruction for the heart of the forest. By thinking of its worth it was named as a National saved forest in the year of 1988. What's more after that in the accompanying year (1989) Unesco named Sinharaja as a characteristic planet legacy site.S

Bounders of Sinjaharaja:

•  From North – Napola streem and Koskulana River

•  From South – "Mahadola" and "Gin gaga"

•  From East Beverly Estate

 •  From West – "Kalundawa stream" and Thuduwa River

Sinharaja spreads a territory of 23000 bowmen (11.187 hec). It is 21 kilometers in width.



Area and passage ways:

Sinharaja forest is placed inside  fits in with three areas in particular Galle, Matara and Ratnapura. There are five major tracks to enter the forest.

•   By voyaging along Ratnapura – Kalawana – Weddagala by means of Kudawa
•   Along Deniyaya through Beverly Estate

•   Through Dafordin Estate of Rakwana
•   Through Morning side Division of Maliboda Estate
•   Through Hiniduma- Neluwa via Kosmulla
