Place to visit Coral Garden in Hikkaduwa - Sri Lanka

The beach of Hikkaduwa is arranged 98 km from Colombo towards the south of Sri Lanka. This fun beachfront town 14 kms from Galle was the first (1960's) of Sri Lanka's delightful sunny shores to be found by travelers. Snorkeling and swooping free waters are the major past-time along this extend and is the most naturally neighborly approach to see the beautiful fish that zoom around. The coral haven discovered on the bank of Hikkaduwa is an expansive shallow waterway encased by a reef, designed with layers of multi colored corals, witch is home to innumerable number of vivid fish. Off the beach there is a gathering of tine islets encompassed by lovely coral developments. Numerous types of fish and substantial turtles are

 Hikkaduwa, a famous vacationer goal in the Galle District is prestigious for its shore and the corals. The Coral Garden here is acknowledged to be the best out of all such coral arrangements discovered in Asia. There is a reef of lime stones running parallel to the coast. The corals are in the middle of this line of lime stones and the coast. The ocean up to around the range of 200 m from the coast is exceptionally shallow. The reef of lime stones secures the corals from high tide.
These corals are discovered in different structures , shapes and colours. They are an exceptionally interesting sight particularly when there is splendid daylight which gives an extremely clearer perspective of the corals. You see a few corals fit as a fiddle of a cabbage leaf; some are similar to a woman's fan. Since there is no sediment, corals can develop in their common shape and colours discovered here.
